Entry and exit protocols:

  • COVID SAfe QR check-in is required for parents/caregivers prior to entry.
  • Strictly one parent/caregiver per family participating in the program.
  • Parents/caregivers are encouraged where possible to pick up and drop off only, however if you are staying please sit on a designated black spot marked on the grandstand.
  • Where possible it is encouraged that siblings DO NOT ATTEND. If this is unavoidable they are to stay within the viewing area.
  • All people within STARplex over the age of 12 are required to wear a face mask, excluding gymnasts when actively engaged in training.
  • On arrival, all children are to place their drink bottle on a designated space near the blue divider and then find their colour group and stand on the yellow spot marked on the floor mats.
  • Hand sanitation is available at entry and exit points and attendees are required to sanitize their hands at these stations.
  • We ask that you please leave promptly after your session has concluded.

What your child needs to bring with them:

  • Drink bottle clearly labelled with your child’s name, which will need be placed in a designated space near the blue dividing wall upon arrival.
  • Their own face mask (if over 12 years old). Face mask is not required to be worn while participating in classes.

We kindly remind attendees that there will be no sharing of personal belongings permitted under these current circumstances.

Hygiene:

To continue to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19, please ensure participants wash and sanitize their hands before and after class.

We appreciate your support in adhering to all the SA Health Guidelines around best practice hygiene. The posters placed around our venue are to reiterate and remind attendees of these standards.

Our cleaning schedule:

  • We will disinfect all areas regularly to assist with cleaning and hygiene protocols.
  • Our high touch areas and toilets are cleaned frequently.

We additionally have a COVID Marshal on site to assist with members adhering to our requirements.
