How many people can your Theatre hold?
- 1200 in Theatre style
- 500 in Cabaret format
- 1500 in Cocktail format
- The flexible seating arrangement can be configured to suit each function or event!
Who are touring this year?
We receive bookings from various promotional/touring companies well in advance of their actual booking day...so to stay in touch and keep those important dates free. The best way to find out who is touring during the year is to be on our monthly 'Hewitson Theatre - STARplex' e-news list.

How much is it to hire the Theatre?
We have half-day or full-day Theatre Hire rates which include all standard equipment. You will need to employ one or more of our venue technicians at $40/hour for most functions also. Can I book the Conference Room?
Yes! Please give Sam Irrgang a call on Ph: 08 8523 8124 or email sam.irrgang@starplex.com.au to check if the date is free, and express what your requirements are. It's just $70+gst per session (up to 5 hours), or $170+gst per day to hire our upstairs Conference Room!
Can I trial a Dancing Class to see if I like it?
Each dance class is run for 4 'terms' every year (8 or 10 week terms). Those interested in joining a class are more than welcome to trial the 1st class for FREE, before committing for the term (term payments only)!
