City-Bay Fun Run or Walk

The STARplex/Starlight Foundation City-Bay team was the biggest and best yet. With 120 participants registered, 2 bus loads of members, families and staff, made their way down to Adelaide at 5.45am. It was a great day and the weather was perfect - everyone had a great time!
Times are now in and I’d like to congratulate those who achieved what they set out to do. We also had a couple of participants who made it into the fastest in their age group! WELL DONE!!!
FANTASTIC news, from the City-Bay alone, we have raised over $6,600 for Starlight. This means we have already achieved our 2011 goal of $10,000….AMAZING!!!!
To have achieved this already and to have had such a successful City-Bay event, has only been possible because of various groups of people….so….
I would like to take this opportunity to thank…..
- All of the 2011 STARplex/Starlight City-Bay participants – for both participation and for fundraising efforts
- The STARplex/Starlight City-Bay Committee and the ‘working team’ on the day…
- The Personal Trainers who donated their time to take the extra training sessions…
- The Reception staff for assisting with Registration and general enquiries…
- And the local businesses and individuals who have made donations of either cash, goods or services to be used towards the event.
