Basketball Umpires Wanted
We are seeking qualified junior and senior basketball umpires for day and evening sessions. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
Tuesdays from 4.30pm
This program caters for male and female players in either U8s (5-7 year olds) or U10s (8-10 year olds). Coaches are permitted to be on the court to teach the players in the U8s competition. Each season is held over two school terms, no premiership points are recorded for these age levels as the program focuses on learning the rules and having fun. At the end of the season all participants receive an award.
Mondays from 4.30pm
The Junior Basketball competition is ideal for young players of all abilities. This program caters for male and female players in the age groups of U12s (11-12 year olds), U14s (13-14 year olds) and U16s (15-16 year olds). Each season is held over two school terms with the top four teams in each age division contesting the finals.
Thursdays during school terms 4.00pm-5.00pm
$90 for 8-weeks (returning players $80), commencing week 2 of each school term. Bookings on-line at Aussiehoops.com.au
Mondays and Tuesdays from 7.30pm (9.45pm latest game start)
For the avid or social basketball player. These competitions are held over 20 weeks plus finals. The top four teams in each division compete in the finals.
Tuesdays from 9.30am
Tuesday morning games are conducted in a social basketball competition with players looking for fun and fitness. Games are played over two school terms (except school holidays). No points are recorded and an end of the fun day is held.
Thursdays from 7.30pm
Teams are made up of family, friends and workmates, in a social competition with a maximum of three male players on court at any one time. This competition is run over approximately 20 weeks.
All players in any of the above competitions MUST wear appropriate and consistent uniforms with player numbers clearly visible. Similar shirts in different shades are not acceptable and penalties will apply. All teams must supply their own scorer. If a team fails to nominate a scorer, ten points will be awarded to the opposing team.
