Can I enrol in swim school at any time throughout the term?
Yes you can. New enrolments are taken daily and this will not effect what part of the term you are starting in.

Do I have to book in to do a Water Fitness Class?
No you do not have to book in to participate in a Water Fitness class. Just come along and you will be able to get into a class.

I would like to try lap swimming but I don't know how to get started?
Our pool lifeguards are available to answer all of your questions regarding where you should swim, what direction, technique of strokes etc. You are also able to contact the pool office prior to starting your swimming and our staff will be happy to answer all of your questions.

Can I wear a T Shirt in the water?
T shirts are only able to be worn by the parents/caregivers of our waterbabies classes purely as a safety aspect to teach gripping on. We take pride in providing the highest water quality to our clients and not allowing T shirts in the pools will assist us in doing so.

Can I get in the pool before the advertised opening times?
Unfortunately you are unable to get in the pool before our advertised opening times. This is due to waiting until a lifeguard is on duty as well as allowing pool staff to clear away equipment used in previous programs. It is advisable to check with the lifeguard on deck to see if you are able to get in.

My child can 'swim' but is under the age of 5 years, why do I have to get in?
STARplex Swim Centre policy is that children under the age of 5 years must be accompanied by an adult in the water within arms reach at all times. The definition of being a 'swimmer' is varied. We thank our clients for supporting this policy and helping us to maintain a high standard of water safety policies.
