Northern Region Sports Academy (NRSA) – Basketball

Tuesdays (10-week term)
5.45pm – 8.00pm
$250 per term
The program aims to improve the sporting performance of young elite basketball players through expert coaching and equipment. The program identifies and develops pathways for both individuals and teams to achieve at the highest level possible, while enhancing the competition at a local and regional level.

Academy athletes receive coaching from state and nationally recognised coaches. Individual training sessions focus on skill acquisition and the application of those skills in both competition and team training sessions. The NRSA program incorporates not only on court specifics but is now also using the latest training aids available to enhance athlete’s development. We have state of the art equipment to help with shooting, rebounding, ball handling, speed, jumping and dribbling.

Central District Lions Basketball Club (CDBC) Junior Development Program

Since 2013, STARplex has delivered junior coaching services for Central District Lions. The program is led by STARplex Courts Manager Ricky Simpson.
