Juniors
For young basketball players of all ages and abilities there is the junior basketball competition which is played on Mondays commencing at 4.30pm. This program caters for male and female players with age groups consisting of 12's (11-12 year olds), 14's (13-14 year olds) with 16's (15-16 year olds) . Each season is run over 2 school terms with the top 4 teams in each age division contesting the finals.
Mini basketball is played on Tuesdays, commencing at 4.30pm. This program caters for male and female players with age groups consisting of Under 8's (5 - 7 year olds) and 10's (8 - 10 year olds). Coaches are permitted to be on the court to teach the players in the Under 8's competition.
Each season is run over two school terms, no premiership points are kept for these age levels as it is all about learning the rules and having fun. At the end of the season all participants receive an award.
The 10-week Junior Development Program has a qualified instructor and is held every Thursday during the school term from 4.00pm - 5.00pm. Skills and drills are taught with the emphasis on having fun while learning how to play the game.

For the avid or social basketball player there is the Men's competition played on Mondays from 6.30pm which is for Division 1 and 2 teams and Tuesdays for Division 3 and 4 teams from 6.30pm. These competitions are run over approximately 20 weeks plus finals. The top 4 teams in each division compete in the finals.
The Ladies basketball competition is played on Tuesdays from 9.30am and Wednesdays from 6.30pm. Tuesday mornings is a social basketball competition with players looking for fun and fitness. Games are played over 2 school terms (except school holidays). No points are recorded, however twice a season there are fun days held.
The Mixed basketball competition is played on Thursday's from 6.30pm. Teams are made up of family, friends and workmates, making it a very social competition with a maximum of 3 male players on court at any one time. This competition is divided into competitive and social divisions depending on the team's ability and is run over approximately 20 weeks. The competitive division has top 4 playing in a finals series. The social division ends their season with a fun night
All players MUST still have numbers on their uniforms and penalties will apply for NO scorer, numbers or for incorrect colour uniform whether it is in the social or competitive program.
