STARplex - Fitness Wellness Performance.
The complex, which was opened in June 2000, is owned by Trinity College and operated as a not for profit community centre. With over 9,000 visitors every week the complex has something for everyone. Visitors enjoy a huge range of recreational services delivered by experienced, qualified staff.
A key outcome for STARplex is personal and community health and wellbeing. This is being accomplished through an educational focus on junior sports development, fitness and lifestyle coaching and event and conference staging, all undertaken in friendly, modern facilities.
In 2006-07 STARplex won the South Australian Fitness Centre of the Year Award which recognised STARplex's adoption of the Fitness Industry Code of practice that promotes quality customer care, fair trading, excellence in staff training and community involvement.
STARplex has a variety of retail shopping options for visitors that include the STARstore for gifts, sports and school-wear, Pec Deck Cafe, Star Creations Hair and Beauty, Evanston Park Surgery and Pharmacy, and the Gawler Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic.
